Sat at the bar. I ordered a pretty big meal since I had fasted the day before. The food was pretty decent. Nothing blew me away as especially flavorful but the lady serving me at the bar was very sweet. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing.

First time here. I try the coffee which was good. We ate the Sanra Maria trip trip or something like that. It was good. Rene our server was very nice to us and we enjoyed his great customer service in Spanish. He asked us if we wanted to be help in Spanish or English as many people are embarrassed to speak. Which was a plus Plus . Thanks for your consideration. I usually take pictures but I was enjoying my company that I forgot.
Best place for American meals. Served fresh and delicious. Courteous staff, too, it's a lovely place for great meals. I have been here so many times, not a single miss, always a hit.
It was an great experience i never had any experience like that Staff was so kind and friendly That was my first time to go there It was really great
Thereโs a cook, his name is Jose, heโs worked the lunch shift for the past 2 days Iโve been. The man knows how to season his food. Had a 10oz steak seasoned so well that steak sauce was not needed. A first for this carnivore who frequents steak houses regularly. Today I had the chicken breast club with avocado. Again Jose brought the flavor. If you appreciate well seasoned, not just salted, food youโll want to stop in and enjoy the flavor. Jose is this Bears gem.
Wow! The restaurant was so enjoyable. Usually we go to the Hopyard diner. But, I heard the Danville location had changed so off for an adventure. We sat at the counter to watch the action. The place was packed. The staff were so nice and great sense of humor! This location also has a meeting room which was in full use. I did wonder if they held birthday parties there. If you have not been in lately go for a good time, treat yourself. Also, there was a QRcode so you could follow your BBD experiences. We have been to these ones- Mt. Shasta; Vacaville; Monterey; Pleasanton & Roseville. Where will your next BBD experience take you?
Currently traveling for work a day longer than I expected and/or wanted. BIG meeting in San Ramon tomorrow that I learned today I must attend. Found a hotel close to the head shed for corporate and there just happened to be a Black Bear Diner in the same parking lot. Now as a back story, I've only been to a Black Bear Diner once before and the portions were way too big for a oil and gas gypsy like me who's in a hotel - you could have another meal easily from a single entrรฉe. This time I made a late lunch of their $9.99 2 eggs, sausage and french toast. It was awesome. The service was great and I enjoyed it so much, I committed to returning for dinner. Fast fwd a couple hours, I returned for a late meal of a house salad and a grilled chicken breast and a raspberry ice tea! Again it was exactly what I wanted and recieved no push back from my ala carte ordering by the very accomidating Ms. Nodia. If your in Danville, stop by this extremely popular place.
